Life Drawing Exhibition

A couple of weeks ago I attended an inspitational life drawing class in New Mills. ย Taught by my very talented friend Tracy Fennell Illustration. ย The lesson was one of 6 in a series of life drawing classes. Each week the students explored the human form, using different mediums. ย I joined them on the collage class (the second time I’ve done it!)

It’s really great to get back into the swing of things ๐Ÿ™‚ Here’s what I came up with…

Here’s Tracy in action and the beautiful model Alannis (Bunny Girl)

I’m really looking forward to the exhibition this Thursday. ย The standard of work from this course has been phenomenal. ย I’ll be signing up for the next set of workshops ๐Ÿ™‚

Edna you twisty minx…

Last Friday was the latest instalment of #theredcase Drink And Draw ๐Ÿ™‚ I look forward to it every month… This time we saw Edna the house cleaner… Oh but she was so much more than that…

A transformation from her house cleaner disguise to vampy vintage godess! Oh that Red Case!

Roll on October! ๐Ÿ˜‰

A vintage discovery

I’d heard about the Vintage Emporium in Pear Mill through a friend.  Today was the first time I went to visit… I’m in love! What can I say? ๐Ÿ™‚ beautiful vintage clothes, shoes, furniture, cups and much, much more! … I could have spent hours in there ๐Ÿ™‚

I thought it would be a good idea to take a few pictures as I walked round exploring.

Tonight sat in the living room surrounded by my paints and pens, I’ve started to draw some of the things I saw… Here’s what I’ve painted so far…
