When I’m not covered in mud, I’m covered in ink!

Hello and thanks for stopping by 🙂  This website is dedicated to my arty farty doodles and creative adventures.  I’m a Freelance Graphic Designer and have recently set up my own business.  I’ve always loved art, it’s a big part of my life now.  The inspirations for my drawings, have come from attending a 6 week life drawing class.  It was taught by my friend Tracy and it has introduced me to a fantastic group of creative/arty people.  I developed my abstract messy style after attending a few drink and daw classes.  It’s amazing how a bottle of wine can relax you!

My favourite mediums to work with are pen, ink and watercolours.  I plan to doodle till my hearts content 🙂 Art is food for the soul.

Random facts about me…    

1) I’m a beekeeper  2) I went on Blue Peter in 1996 clog dancing – and yes I have a badge (somewhere…!)  3) I’m dyslexic  4) I have a little fluffy child, Jassy bear our little pooch  5)  I thought for years and years (until recently) that ‘A partridge in a pear tree’ was all one word… andapartridgeinapeartree…?!  6) I’m obsessed with art materials – it’s a real issue! You can never have too many sketch books right? right??!

So as you can see I’m clearly a bit unusual or as my husband would say ‘weirdly unique’.  I hope you enjoy my drawings feel free to get in touch 🙂
